First Day of Preschool
We finally found a preschool that wasn't $300 a month or really scary looking for Will to go to. I contacted the teacher in late January and found out that the 2nd semester started in March, but they were full so she put Will on a waiting list and we got in! I was nervous because when Will went to school in Rexburg the first two weeks he would cry every time I dropped him off. So I went in with him and explained to the teachers that it would take him a couple of weeks to warm up and he may cry and he turns around and says "Bye Mama" and ran off to play. Every preschool day he has he happily runs into the class and when I pick him up he asks if his friends can come home with us. The only thing I don't like is I wish they had the spy rooms like BYU-I preschool so that I would be able to know if he is paying attention and being cooperative. He is having fun and I'm happy I have 2 1/2 hours off two days a week!
Valentines Day.
We had a pretty laid back Valentines day Bo was swamped with work and school so Will and I had our own fun. I took him to the store and let him pick out his own gift because I'm a lame mom and ran out of time to get everything done Will picked out an orange stringy blob with eyes that lights up when you hit him and he named it Alfie. Then I asked him what he wanted to do go to the movie Gnomio and Juliet or go to "kids gym" (thats what Will calls it, its an indoor playground for kids 7 and under). I was hoping for the movie, but Will of course picked kids gym. After kids gym and some shopping we came home ate pizza and watched Word World, Super Why, and Elmo Valentine movies. It wasn't a big extravaganza and I actually think Will enjoyed it more than when we make a big deal about things and try to push him to be excited.
